We are not accepting International applicants at this time.As a condition of employment, candidates must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19.The Family Fun Zone Attendants tend to the guests and the needs of their children while ensuring Health and Safety Standards are met. Responsible for the welfare of the children, administrative duties, setting up scheduled activities while ensuring prompt & courteous guest service.MyGuest· Ensuring the attentive supervision and safety of guest’s children during their time in the Family Fun Zone.· Scheduling, implementing, and supervising appropriate activities with the children.· Overseeing the activities in the pool, waterslide and Club 33 Teen Centre, when requested in the absence of the pool attendant.· Constant maintenance of the CCC pets and following daily feeding and cleaning schedules.· Greet and interact with all patrons of the CCC, the pools and the hotel.· Ensuring all crafts/activities are set up prior to implementation.· To assist guests with knowledge of area attractions/events.· Ensure Cleanliness of Children’s Creative Centre.MyProduct· To maintain a safe, tidy working environment.· Register children for membership program when required (including completing release form in full, wristbands, pagers and name tags).· Provide change and refunds for the video and laundry machines when requested.· Responsible for cash float of $100.00. Also responsible for depositing daily revenue and posting room charges at Front Desk.· Maintain accurate bookings – Theatre Babysitting, Improv Care, Birthday Parties, etc· To involve and include all children in the Centre in activities.· Maintaining inventory of all supplies and notifying Manager/Lead Hand of supplies that needs to be ordered.MyChelsea· Ensure that security procedures are maintained in order to protect the children when necessary.· Complete any other assignment as designed by Manager of the department.· Comply with Hotel/Company/Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.Requirement.Working Experience· Previous Child Care Supervision is an asset.· Previous Guest Service Experience.·Knowledge· Valid CPR/1st Aid is mandatory.·Soft Skills· Outgoing, cheerful personality.· Excellent communicational skills and organizational skills· Must be a strong team player· Ability to work in a fast paced and needs based environment.Languages· Must be able to easily communicate in EnglishPhysical Requirements· Ability to stand for long periods of time.· Ability to lift, bend, & kneel· Must successfully complete background check.The Chelsea Hotel, Toronto is committed to providing a fair and equitable work environment and encourages applications from qualified women, men, visible minorities, aboriginal peoples and persons with disabilities.
