Role: Contract - Toronto and Winnipeg BasedWHO YOU ARE:You can take a dossier and come back with a great story. You think in scenes and know that without allowing your DOP time for great visuals your story editor and editor will curse your name. Many of our stories are Manitoba-based, so you either live in Manitoba or are open to traveling there for a slew of stories at once.You have a keen eye to read the room and can react to a day in which logistics change. We will always seek to iron out as many details as possible pre-production, but if you’re a good field producer you already know that pivoting is part of the job.We can’t offer this as a full time position but there are a lot of upcoming filming days. We are looking for someone to build a long term relationship with who can grow with us and get to know the recurring characters of our stories.Unless you’re a story editor, too.
