Our offering includes products and solutions for patient handling, hygiene, disinfection, medical beds and other therapeutic surfaces.Position Summary:The Field Service Technician will work independently performing field service as well as in-house activities at Arjo customers and service centres throughout an assigned geographic territory.Duties include the promotion and completion of on-site preventative maintenance and repair services, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, controlling inventory, managing data and documentation while achieving all measureable performance targets.The individual will have a history of independently servicing electromechanical equipment in a large geographic territory and should not be deterred by a fast-paced, demanding environment. The position requires a high level of multi-functional expertise and excellent time management skills.Primary Responsibilities:Schedule and provide preventative maintenance and repair services at healthcare facilities.Effectively promote and sell Arjo service agreements and products.Supervise equipment installation and/or perform uncrate and assembly servicesInstruct customer’s personnel in the operation and proper use of the equipment.Assist sales personnel in marketing all Arjo equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads).Maintain an organized parts inventory in a clean Company vehicle.Support Rental Operations team with repairs on rental equipment when needed.Perform other related duties as assigned.Education and Experience:Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.A minimum of three (3) years of field based electromechanical repair and maintenance experienceA minimum of three (3) years of face to face technical customer service experienceA minimum of three (3) years of sales and/or promotion of service products experienceSkills and Abilities:Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to recommend/promote/sell products and services based on observed client needs.Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and technical repair skills.Computer literacy; familiarity with information technology concepts, personal computers, Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications.What we offer:Competitive base salary with performance based incentive planHealth and Dental BenefitsPension planCompany VehiclePast successful candidates have come from the following professions:Photocopier repairAppliance RepairBiotechnical DisciplinesFor more information, please visit our Website: https://www.arjo.comWe value your interest in employment with ARJO but please keep in mind that only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
