Overview:As the Manager of Financial Systems, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial systems and assisting the migration and integration of systems.Key Responsibilities:Financial Systems Management:Oversee the implementation, integration, and maintenance of financial systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, financial planning and analysis tools, and other relevant software.Ensure the systems are up-to-date, secure, and comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.Monitor system performance and data integrity, promptly addressing any issues or discrepancies.Process Improvement:Continuously review and analyze financial processes to identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline workflows and optimize financial system functionalities.Lead or participate in system integration.Financial Reporting and Analysis:Work closely with Finance and Accounting teams to generate and validate financial reports and statements.Provide insights on financial data and trends to support strategic decision-making and planning.Develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).Team Leadership:Manage a team of financial system specialists, providing mentorship and guidance.Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and facilitate professional development opportunities.Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging creativity and innovation.Compliance and Audit:Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial data and prevent fraud.Vendor Management:Liaise with software vendors, negotiate contracts, and assess system updates or service level agreements (SLAs).Manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal support and functionality of financial systems.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor #39;s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; Master #39;s degree preferred.Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in financial systems management, preferably in a leadership capacity.In-depth knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting standards.Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.).Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing and developing a team.High level of attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security best practices.As a Manager of Financial Systems, you play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring the smooth functioning of financial systems and enabling accurate financial reporting and analysis.
