Job Description

The Global Advertising Operations Manager will have the responsibilities including but are not limited to assisting with site tagging and maintenance, ad and site troubleshooting, campaign management, and people management. This is a multi-faceted position that requires a commitment to excellence and attention to detail. This individual will leverage industry and historical knowledge to apply to their daily task and future projects. This person is a forward thinker and strategy focused. They will lead and manage other individuals and create a structure for growth.Responsibilities:

  • Expected to understand site ad functionality, including knowledge of all ad products available on our site(s)
  • Contribute technical knowledge of related systems and an understanding of project management fundamentals
  • Expert advertising operation skills as it relates to ad trafficking, reporting and campaign management
  • Implementation and management of online advertising campaigns through multiple ad servers and monitor delivery of campaign(s) from beginning to end
  • Responsible to applying historical knowledge of client media and performance to future campaigns via optimizations recommendations
  • Full understanding of third-party tracking and reporting
  • Interact with internal as well as external clients including but not limited to coordination and consultation to ensure a successful advertising campaign/all ads on site are correctly deployed
  • Assist in the update of site ad unit hierarchy and ad footprint, when needed
  • Follow-up with immediate action & provide concise, timely feedback within the deadlines established
  • Self-manage tasks / schedule for effective and efficient time management
  • Taking a proactive lead in understanding potential problem areas and ensuring they are avoided or resolved
  • Troubleshooting creative, site tagging and tracking issues that may arise
  • Identifying process inefficiencies and ways to improve operations workflow
  • Manage and path other team members within the group
  • Manage team workflow to ensure efficient use of team resources as met
What You Need for this Position:
  • 4-5+ Years in a role at an internet publishing company, interactive creative agency or Internet media buyer agency
  • Experience with Ad Serving platforms particularly GAM and third-party ad serving and order management tools, such as DCM, Sizmek, Op1, etc
  • Familiarity with web inspection tools, such as Fiddler, Charles or browser developer tools
  • Highly autonomous, self-directed and independent in both work and learning, with a desire to quickly learn and develop new skills
  • Proven customer service experience, with excellent communication skills both internally and externally
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Effective time management and planning skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in being able to take on new projects or products with little notice or training
  • Proven experience as a positive and helpful team member who actively contributes towards their teams common goals
  • A diplomatic leader and motivator
