The Global Corporate Bank manages J.P. Morgans overall relationships with large corporations, financial institutions and public sector organizations globally to solve problems for clients and help them to grow. We help our clients meet their objectives and challenges in financing, risk management, working capital, cash management and investments. Clients benefit from dedicated coverage provided by experienced corporate bankers, who deliver the firms extensive product platform and presence in more than 60 countries worldwide. We leverage the capital strength of JPMorgan Chase and extend credit to help clients grow their business.We are looking for a Vice President level banker to join GCB Canada, a high performing team, with some of the deepest most mature client relationships in the organization across across both FIG and corporates including but not limited to Asset Managers, Infrastructure, Diversified, Metals & Mining, Energy, and Tech sectors.Core responsibilities of preferred candidate include:

• Act as clients most trusted advisor
• Drive new business development and relationship management for our clients
• Develop forward looking business plans for clients and maintain existing business relationships
• Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPMorgans broad array of banking products across debt capital markets, risk management, treasury and securities services and asset management: Conversion of client analysis into concrete financial solutions
• Assist with building and developing coverage of the Global Corporate Banks selected clients, working and coordinating with the line of business partners including Debt Capital Markets, Markets, Treasury Services, Investor Services, Asset Management and Investment Bank Client Executives where such coverage exists
• In-scope products include: Traditional credit product, Debt, Treasury Services, ABS/Conduit, Investor Services, Asset Management, FX, Derivatives, Commodities, as well as certain flow Sales and Trading products
• Drive account planning processes for the Global Corporate Bank selected clients Particularly focusing on the use of credit capital and balancing the firm wide priorities
• Role will require travel to meet clients

Minimum requirements:

• Strong commercial judgment and influencing abilities
• Ability to lead a team of bankers across multiple lines of business
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Experience working with sector clients or in related areas (i.e., DCM, Credit, etc.)
• Bachelors degree - a quantitative or business field preferred, but not required
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a relevant space

Preferred experience, knowledge or skills:

• Established experience working with private equity, infrastructure and real estate sponsors
• Experience selling or working with a broad range of corporate banking products
• Experience in a product or functional area relevant to the role
