Our purpose is to bring enjoyment to people’s lives through great tasting food, in a way which reflects our values.Job SummaryIn this global role, the successful candidate will have ownership and responsibility for the digital solutions being developed for measuring global potato quality from beginning to end. This individual will be responsible for and help to guide not only the ideation and design of the products but also the scope, backlog of work and value of the solution from the ideation phase though the lifetime of the solution. There will be a strong link to our Digital solutions being developed within our Manufacturing facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesActs as the primary conduit that represents the ‘voice of the customer’ for the Business within the teamEngages and solicits feedback from end-user community including schedulers, field reps, farmers, and manufacturing stakeholdersIdentifies change management impacts to their end-user community (i.e. training required), and collaborates with their respective change lead(s) to implementPrioritizes a value-focused backlog that aligns to McCain North Star and considers innovative concepts; manages it such that the team can achieve a continuous flow of execution in deliveryCollaborates with his / her McCain Program Lead to confirm backlog prioritization, alignment to the roadmap, forecasted sprint plan, cross-cutting product / solution dependencies, and the escalation of any business-related impedimentsDevelops cohesive ways of working with his / her technology peers on the team such that a high-degree of trust is established on the direction of the product / solutionResponsible for the business and information architecture domains as they relate to the overall Enterprise Architecture strategyConsults with the Product Architect on solution, technology and security architecture domains.QualificationsRequired Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Minimum experience of 5-10 years within McCain Ag or McCain Manufacturing team working closely with agricultureStrong Knowledge of McCain Ag, Manufacturing and Payment Potato grading functionsBachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Ag Engineering or Bio systems EngineeringStrategic understanding of the McCain Agriculture business and potato industry as a wholeExperience and knowledge of new generation technology vision systemsStrong Leadership SkillsStrong Data skills and experienceExperience in influencing and creating changeStrong communication skillsAbility to adapt quickly to new situationsCritical thinker in order to be ‘the voice of the business’McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
