No matter where you’re working from, we’re committed to ensuring that the Fiixer experience is best in class!The job in one sentenceYou’ll create compelling visuals across all channels and areas of the business that captivate audiences, build the Fiix brand, and help us showcase Fiix as the #1 solution for maintenance teams.Goals1) Support Fiix’s brand and to-go-market programs with compelling, creative designs.2) Identify new ways of visualizing and repurposing content to keep Fiix’s marketing content fresh and engaging.3) Develop a library of design templates that can be repurposed and used to scale Fiix’s content diversity.4) Ensure all materials are created with quality and consistency, whether customer-facing or internal.What you will do:

    • Design content, collateral, and graphics to bolster Fiix’s visual brand and marketing: You’ll be responsible for creating imagery for blog posts, social media, ebooks, emails, as well as Fiix’s web presence and community platform.
    • Support cross-functional teams and initiatives: You’ll work with stakeholders across all areas of the Fiix & Rockwell businesses to support multiple initiatives. This includes enablement pieces like one-pagers and presentations, to hiring collateral like brochures, infographics and more.
    • Champion and maintain brand integrity: Be an advocate for visual consistency and a stickler for the details when it comes to all facets of Fiix’s visual identity.
    • Help scale Fiix’s content diversity: You’ll be responsible for developing a library of easy-to-use design templates for use on multiple platforms and allow the team to quickly spin up engaging visuals based on content type.
What we’re looking for:
    • Can distill complex ideas and concepts into easy-to-understand visualizations.
    • Has strong organization and time management skills, an eagle-eye for detail, and the ability to focus and work efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced environment
    • Has experience designing for multiple different mediums, including social media, web, print, video, display ads, etc.
    • Has a general understanding of HTML and CSS and how to design efficiently with web development in mind.
    • Has experience in user-centric design and understands how design decisions are evaluated in the context of how they deliver value to the users both internally and externally.
    • Is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.
    • Post secondary or equivalent experience
    • Bonus, but not required: Has experience designing motion graphics.
What you can expect in your first six months in this roleDays 1-30You’ll spend your first month learning everything you can about our brand, industry, business, and audience. You’ll research lots to learn what we do, why we do it, as well as how we talk about and visualize it. It’s your chance to soak up knowledge so you can hit the ground running and bring fresh eyes (and ideas) to the team.Days 30-90It’s time to start designing! Over the next two months, you’ll work closely with the brand team to execute several design projects from creating social graphics, stylizing presentation materials, and designing campaign ads. You’ll slowly take on projects to create dynamic visuals that make Fiix’s content easy to understand.Days 90-180You’ll kick off exploring new ways of using Fiix’s visual identity to keep content fresh and exciting and begin working more with the broader marketing team. You’ll have the runway to flash your creative chops and start to develop a diverse library of useful layouts and templates to scale up how Fiix content is displayed across the entire Fiix digital presence.Days 180+After six months, you’ll be ready to help shape the next stage of Fiix’s visual identity. You’ll work with the Marketing Design Manager to execute this by iterating on existing brand elements and implementing new ones. You’ll research and brainstorm different ways of reaching our audiences and execute this through design.
