HeadSpin is funded by Google Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners, ICONIC , Danhua Capital and other blue-chip investors.‍About the RoleHeadSpin is looking for candidates to join a cross functional hardware team focused on innovative electronics design and manufacturing in the mobile testing space. Our team is responsible for the PBox, a rapidly scaling product delivered to datacenter and customers globally. The PBox houses and monitors the devices in our global device cloud.In addition, we’re constantly doing research and development on new technologies for mobile device testing: Bluetooth audio testing, physical touch screen actuation, screen capture technology, power consumption monitoring and more. The hardware team is small but growing fast. We are especially looking for self-directed and cross functional candidates. We strive for a diverse environment that encourages continued learning and professional growth.‍What You’ll Do

  • You will bring your technical expertise or work experience in manufacturing, mechanical design or electronics.
  • You will help design new products and subcomponents such as enclosures, brackets and cabling.
  • You will work with the team to improve manufacturability: replacing and redesigning parts to simplify assembly and reduce cost.
  • You will plan, document and implement the assembly and quality assurance workflow for our product.
  • You may also at times work directly assembling the end product to help meet surges in product demand.
‍What You’ll Need
  • Experience or expertise relating to mechanical design, electronics design, manufacturing, robotics or related fields
  • Experience designing and/or manufacturing
  • Enclosures
  • Rack equipment
  • Mounting brackets
  • Custom cabling
  • Electronics prototyping experience
  • Basic programming experience
  • Experience creating assembly documentation
  • Experience with CAD tools: Fusion 360, Rhino CAD, Eagle, Altium or similar
