You’ll own the engine room and operate the Grill and Fryer and ensure all the Burgers are cooked to flame-grilled perfection and Fries are crisp and golden. Serve up hot, great tasting food and maintain the flow of the kitchen is how you’ll show Harvey’s love. You will be responsible for setting up the grills, cooking burgers/ hot dogs and maintaining a clean kitchen workspace.We are looking for the right people who love to grill and want to brighten consumers’ days through their perfected burger standards and work well with our tour team to bring a positive Harvey’s brand experience to our tour!Position: Harvey’s Tour GrillerNumber of Roles: 1 per stopLocations and Dates:Aug 20 – Burlington (Guildwood Drive Street Fest)Aug 27 – Brampton (Creditview Sandalwood Park)Sep 3 – London (East Lions Community Centre & Park)Sep 4 – Kitchener-Waterloo (Waterloo Public Square)Sep 5 – Guelph (Exhibition Park)Sep 21 – Mississauga (Totoredaca Park, 2715 Meadowvale Blvd Mississauga)Sep 24 – Toronto (Ontario Place)Pay Rate: $25/ hourHours: 7-12 hour shift times, exact shift times to be confirmedWe will prioritize applicants available for all shift dates and locationsWe will cover: travel time (we can negotiate coverage here once you’re hired as well)Role Specific duties:You will be responsible for bringing a brand presence to our tour by helping with the set-up of the RV and trailer, starting up the grills and organizing the kitchen! The goal of the campaign is to bring a Harvey’s brand experience of getting as many Harvey’s burgers ordered through our easy application process. You may also be asked to support in the preparation of burgers and garnish kits and help deliver our burgers to the customers.Requirements for the position

• must have strong grilling and food service experience
• preferably leadership experience in the kitchen as you’ll own the kitchen and burger creations
• You’re passionate about grill marks and having the perfect golden bun
• Must possess our attitude of “give-a-shitness” about people, client goals and your team
• comfortable managing a kitchen
• Enthusiastic, sociable, high-energy and comfortable engaging new people
• Must adhere to brand standards, food safety and health & safety policies
• Able to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
• Must be comfortable on your feet for long days
• Must be good at working in teams and adapting to new situations quickly
• Reliable, punctual and communicative about your needs, limits, any conflicts
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs for helping with event set up and take down
• It is the Event Staff’s responsibility to get themselves to and from set locations, for your shifts however - we will cover travel parking, travel time
