The Role:Abode is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Head of Finance to join its rapidly expanding consumer finance and leasing business. As the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will play a critical role in providing strategic financial leadership and ensuring the financial well-being of the organization. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of financial and treasury experience within the consumer finance industry.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the financial strategy, objectives, and goals of the organization, aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Drive financial performance through effective management of key financial metrics, financial controls, and risk management.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors, supporting decision-making and driving business growth.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage treasury functions, including cash flow management, liquidity planning, debt financing, and investment strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and execute mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, conducting financial due diligence and integrating financial systems and processes.
  • Stay updated on relevant financial and accounting standards, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance and recommending process improvements as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation is required.
  • Proven experience as a CFO, VP, or senior finance leader within the consumer finance industry.
  • Strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of financial operations, including accounting principles, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated experience in treasury management, cash flow analysis, and capital structure optimization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and financial due diligence is a plus.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements within the consumer finance industry.
