Job Description

LocationToronto, CanadaFor our department Office of the CIO (OCIO) in the central division IT, we are looking for a Head of Subsection for Global IT Compliance Americas.The number and extent of regulatory and other compliance requirements is increasing rapidly on a global scale. This has to be reflected in our IT systems and global IT organization.This subsection is in charge for compliance assessments, the coordination of audits, the identification of new regulatory requirements (together with other departments like compliance and legal), tracking of closure of gaps, plus monitoring and reporting of the status regarding compliance.Your jobLeadership of a highly qualified and motivated team including team leaders globallyDriver of the further development of the Global IT Compliance organisation together with the Head of Global IT Compliance and the other Heads of subsectionEnsuring compliance with regulatory and other compliance requirements globallyReporting on and driving forward closure of gapsOrganizing the coordination of IT audits on IT sideClose alignment with IT Risk & Security and other organizational unitsYour profileRelevant university degree (business administration, legal, information management or a comparable qualification)5+ years of experience in the area of IT auditing or comparable qualificationExperience in the financial services industryStrong skills for leading a highly qualified team including other managers of the IT compliance organizationStrong analytical and conceptual skillsAbility to moderate even conflicting groupsHigh level of assertivenessConfident, skilled manner, a strong client focus and communication talentAbility to work under pressureHigh level of commitment, willingness to travel internationally
