Units directly within Student Experience include, the Office of the CAO; Student Life IT; Student Life Communications; Student Crisis Response, Progress, & Support; Assessment & Analysis; Innovation Hub; and Strategic Initiatives.Your opportunity:Under the general supervision of the Help Desk / Network Supervisor, Student Life, the incumbent provides technical support for the Division of Student Life. This includes the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and workstations, support of the network, systems diagnostics and troubleshooting, analysis of ongoing performance, system slowdowns and bottlenecks. Performs periodic maintenance of servers to ensure a stable and secure operating environment, including application of security and operating system patches. The Health & WellnessApplication and Technical Support Specialist is primarily responsible for the maintenance and support of user desktops and the clinical management system (CMS) of the Health & Wellness Centre. The incumbent will also be the primary contact for the disaster recovery plan that provides for a high level of security and protection for the unit; maintains data and systems integrity of sensitive information on servers; creates, maintains and documents inventories and procedures related to the Health & WellnessCentre operations. As part of the larger division, the incumbent provides shared support for the rest of the Division of Student Life as well as for institutional systems such as UTmail+, ROSI and AMS/FIS.Your responsibilities willinclude:
