Come be a part of the team.Job DescriptionAs a member of the VIP Experience & Hospitality team, your role will be to assist in all aspects of a guest’s journey throughout their time at our venues. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is energetic, creative, tactical and analytical, and one who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual will constantly strive to delight our guests, exceeding their expectations through gracious, enthusiastic, and personalized service. Candidates should have sharply honed interpersonal skills; encourage confidence and exude authenticity with guests. A high level of discretion and confidentiality is required when handling guest information and requests.Responsibilities:

  • Act as point of contact for assigned guests leading up to their visit as well as the day of. Responsible for providing an outstanding concierge level of service by anticipating needs, taking initiative and going above and beyond to assist with all requests.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming front-of-house experience
  • Ensuring the safety of the clients by providing them with rules and regulations about the event space, monitoring their behaviour at all times, and removing anyone who violates these rules
  • Extensive knowledge of the venue, event night details and nearby surroundings to make the most suitable recommendations
  • Work closely with the entire VIP Team to facilitate any last-minute concierge duties as they arise –coordinating with other staff members, including the client’s team, the venue manager, catering staff, security guards, transportation drivers, delivering amenities
  • Assist with executing event day operations within MLSE premium spaces – guestlist and registration, VIP experiences, handling vendors and talent
  • Ensure proper communication between all internal stakeholders from Legal, Sales, Security, F&B, PR and Marketing and the Executive team to ensure service excellence company-wide.
  • Provide clients with attentive concierge service to ensure they are optimizing the offered benefit and amenities.
  • Flexibility to perform other job-related duties
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years in VIP host role and or hospitality/concierge service experience
  • Ability to think independently in making real-time decisions
  • Ability to effectively manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be proficient with SevenRooms, and various event check-in apps
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and analytical skills required
  • Must have a systematic and process-oriented attitude to ensure seamless end-to-end guest experiences
  • Demonstrated dedication to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
  • Strong work ethic with a drive for self-development, collaboration and take-action mentality
  • Knowledge of Sports & Entertainment and the Hospitality industry experiences an asset
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
