Job Description

Role impact:The HR Systems Analyst will be a key player in the design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance and enhancements of all Human Resources related technology. This position will provide functional and technical expertise in analyzing, designing and implementing HR system solutions in support of organizational and business requirements, as well as utilizing technology to improve efficiencies. The HR Systems Analyst will also monitor data quality and integrity and proactively lead data remediation efforts.What you will deliver:

  • Maintain and identify the accuracy and data integrity of the Human Resource Information System by running array of reports and conducting regular audits. Communicate and collaborate with respective HR team members to resolve any data discrepancies
  • Serve as a technical point of contact within HR and assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues, IT and external vendors to ensure user requirement and change requests are reviewed and approved
  • Assists Senior Manager, Compensation & Systems with the implementation of work processes and system solutions that support business initiatives, enhance the value and integrity of data and create an efficient system environment for users
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new and additional functionality to the HRIS, including Manager Self Service (MSS), Employee Self Service (ESS) and all other required modules
  • Works with HR functional areas to interpret business requirements and develop systems configuration solutions
  • Administrate the HRIS system, with an ongoing focus on identifying opportunities for continuous improvement through technology
  • Develop reports and dashboards, including alerts and bursts
  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including all HR applications
  • Develop and optimizes system reporting and prepares ad hoc reports based on end user requirements and specifications
  • Creates and maintains appropriate documentation and user training in support of HR Systems applications
  • Ensure IT General Controls are adhered to for access, changes and incidents
  • Responsible for training Property Administrators and Managers/Supervisors on the requirements of Time and Attendance (UTA). This involves hands-on instruction, on-going telephone support to ensure all properties are familiar with and adhere to the prescribed procedures and guidelines for processing the biweekly payroll
  • Support technical aspect and data collection for annual employee survey through Qualtrics including pulse surveys conducted throughout the year
  • Prepare the annual department budget and monthly variance analysis preparation. Monitor expenses to verify invoices are coded to the correct accounts. Responsible for any budget questions and communications; key contact person for Finance
  • Participates in special projects as required
What your strengths are:
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Knowledge of HR administrative practices and legislative policies
  • Strong analytical skills, including an ability to track, analyze and interpret numbers and data
  • Make recommendations based on data extrapolation in a clear and logical manner
  • Proven ability to develop and manage complex reporting, understand statistical information and make recommendations based on thorough analysis of the data
  • Highly organized with the ability to cope with multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player; also able to work autonomously
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
What you need to succeed:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with HR systems or equivalence
  • Post-secondary education in Business and/or Human Resources diploma
  • Advanced capability with software and application tools including MS Office Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of automated systems such HRIS, payroll systems and time and attendance, preferably with UKG Pro.
  • Working knowledge of BI reporting.
