Job Description

Our client, a leading designer and manufacturer of large hydraulic presses and related equipment, is currently seeking an experienced Hydraulic Technician to join their team. They serve various industries including automotive, aerospace, consumer, and industrial products. The Hydraulic Technician will be responsible for inspecting and assembling hydraulic cylinders, power units, and presses. Additionally, they will be involved in the start-up and commissioning of hydraulic presses and automation both in the factory and at customer facilities.Requirements:· 5 to 10 years of experience in large industrial machinery manufacturing.· Strong foundation in hydraulic controls, pumps, and associated process systems.· Ability to read schematic drawings and troubleshoot hydraulic problems.· Solid understanding of machinery safety principles.· Effective communication skills with customers and other technicians, proficiency in Microsoft standard products.· Willingness to travel domestically and internationally at short notice.· Ability to work in demanding production environments while maintaining composure.Responsibilities:· Assemble hydraulic components, piping, and tubing according to drawings and instructions.· Maintain a complete set of personal hand tools required for the assembly process.· Provide technical support during equipment start-up and in-house testing.· Assist with loading and unloading tasks as needed.· Perform field service work as directed.· Ensure compliance with requirements, identify non-conformances, and suggest improvements.· Perform any other tasks deemed necessary.Benefits:· Paid uniforms.· Safety boot allowance, eye and hearing protection, and other PPE provided.· Room for advancement with mentorship and advancement opportunities.· On-the-job training with some certification costs covered.· Opportunity to work with industry-leading technology.· Free on-site parking.· Employee appreciation events.· Travel opportunities with paid expenses.
