Informatica Data Quality Engineer - IDQ TorontoHybrid Must have skills: 1. 10+ years of hands-on development experience. 2. Experience leveraging big data technologies (one or more of Informatica, Databricks, Hadoop, Python, Spark) is mandatory. 3. Experience working with various data exchange formats (JSON, CSV, XML, etc.). 4. Solid understanding of relational and dimensional database design and knowledge of logical and physical data models is preferred. 5. Excellent knowledge of SQL and Linux shell scripting. 6. Experience with data governance using Azure Purview and Databricks. Good to have skills: 1. Experience building real-time data pipelines using Kafka or Spark Streaming is preferred. 2. Experience in Microsoft Azure platforms is preferred. 3. Experience with Agile methodologies for project development. 4. Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills are preferred. 5. Experience with continuous delivery tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Circle CI) and an understanding of build pipelines, artifact repositories, zero-downtime deployment, etc., is preferred. Key responsibilities: Able to handle multiple priorities seamlessly. Work with multiple project execution and deployment teams (e.g., Development Architecture, Release Management, Production Support). Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Perform technical systems and data flow development in a variety of projects for complex front, middle, and back-office applications, with a focus on the reporting and analytics environment built on Microsoft Azure cloud.
