Reporting to the Ingest/QC Supervisor, you will ensure our world-class content is successfully processed and that WildBrain Spark library assets are well maintained. You will get to work with others who are equally passionate and like-minded professionals to enable the organization to continue their success in content management.Responsibilities:What You’ll Do:Responsible for the initial QC and processing of all WildBrain Spark assets for ingest in to the WildBrain Media Asset Management system, including new productions, 3rd party acquisitions, as well as the back libraryResponsible for the standardization of all content to WildBrain Spark’s established file specifications using Media Composer, CineX Tools, and existing Post-Producer workflowsResponsible for conforming foreign-language audio files to their AV masters using AVID Media ComposerResponsible for the segmentation marketing of all WB Spark assets in the MAMResponsible for processing all incoming media within a 24-hour timeframeResponsible for Standards & Practices reviews upon request in order to ensure material is suitable/appropriate for WildBrain’s audiencesResponsible for media management of all incoming files and the maintenance of the Spark landing pad workspaceWorks with the WB Spark Media Operations contact as well as the Ingest/QC Supervisor to keep tabs on incoming assets and flag any discrepancies in expected deliveries to the team, as well as the Library departmentWorks with the WB Spark Media Operations contact to determine best course of action for converting 4x3 masters to 16x9 aspect ratiosAssists on special projects as requiredQualifications:What You’ll Bring:2-3 years’ experience with a craft editor, preferably AVID Media ComposerPrevious experience working with tight schedules, large and small projects, and quality controlKnowledge of international tape and file formats and frame ratesStrong organizational skillsProactive and independent workerHighly collaborative and experienced working with cross-functional teamsPrevious experience with Telestream Vantage workflows an assetKnowledge of Smartsheet an assetKnowledge of CineX Tools an assetKnowledge of MAM environments an assetWhat We Bring:Working at WildBrain is more than a job — it’s the opportunity to join forces with extraordinary, insightful and imaginative people who will recognize your talents and encourage your professional growth and development in a work environment that promotes creativity and individuality.
