Applications close September 2nd.Do you have a passion for kids’ content and an interest in getting to know the world of kids TV Are you a Black-identifying undergraduate student with a major or minor in a business or arts program Are you registered in an undergraduate internship course Our international sales team at Nelvana Enterprise is looking for a student intern to join our team!Entertaining kids for over 50 years, Nelvana is a world-leading international producer, distributor and licensor of children’s’ animated and live-action content.Tasks for this position include:

  • Assisting with show availability charts for global sales
  • Inserting deal terms into the contract management system
  • Helping get contracts signed
  • Organizing and contributing to sales pitch materials
  • Organizing feedback on shows before they are produced
  • And other sales-related projects as they arise
As part of the team, you’ll learn:
  • The behind the scenes of how shows are made, from idea to screen
  • How television contracts are structured and negotiated
  • Working with the international sales team (Paris, Frankfurt, Durban, Toronto), the nuances of how different shows are pitched and sold in different countries around the world
  • How Nelvana’s content, one of the biggest children’s media libraries in the world, is managed
Nelvana is looking for someone who can work independently and efficiently, with high organizational skills and detail orientation. Excel and PowerPoint skills are considered an asset.This position is 2-3 days a week (start and end dates are flexible) and pays $15/class-required hour* capped at $3,600. This position is virtual and candidates from anywhere in Ontario may apply.
  • Class-required hour is defined as the number of hours required to complete the post-secondary internship course, as outlined by the individual course’s curriculum. Class-required hours may vary based on course and school.
