This unique approach has earned the company awards and recognition by the most recognized travel publications including National Geographic and Travel and Leisure.Job DescriptionSupport the expansion of our product portfolio by adding new hotels, day tours and cruise ships to our digital database.Write copy in the Kensington Tours voice to describe day tours, itineraries and destinations.Select compelling digital imagery to bring our day tours and hotel experiences to life.Adjust the copy and imagery for existing tours and hotels to reflect updates, renovations and operational changes in-destination.Generate ideas for digital content across our owned properties including blogs and social media platforms.Attend meetings and training presentations with our international suppliers.Participate in competitive intelligence projects, as required.QualificationsCurrent student of Tourism, Hospitality, Journalism or Advertising programMust be available Monday to Friday for a minimum of 3 months.Advanced communication skills – ability to write with a clear sense of styleExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teamsSome previous travel industry experience an assetSome knowledge of marketing and advertising principles an assetExcellent grasp on Microsoft Office applications (excel, word specifically)Knowledge of Office 365 functionality would be an assetAttention to detail (accuracy of information)Able to seamlessly switch priorities in a fast-paced environmentAdditional InformationLearning Opportunities:Learn about the role of the Product Department within the travel industryGain exposure to the luxury segment of the travel industry in a fast-growing, innovative tour operator contextEnhance your knowledge of key international tourism destinations, their offering and positioningSee your own writing and imagery selections published on kensingtontours.com and across other digital platformsGet an inside look into how the travel industry is weathering the pandemic including our plans to compete and win in 2022Cultural FitThrives working in a technology and KPI driven organization.Able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.Highly functional in a fast paced, constantly changing workplace - building plans through iterations from learning on what’s working and not working.Ability to build trust and work through conflict both upwards and downward.We know that our success is dependent on the people who join our team, which is why we recruit the best.
