Job Description

Join our team in our mission to continue to put patients and families at the centre of everything we do, in the role of Inventory Analyst - Supply Chain.A Supply Chain Inventory Analyst leads the end-to-end analysis of inventory and financial statistics to inform inventory management activities across all three Unity Health Toronto sites. Key functions include order management, stock level optimization, stock reconciliation, and inventory data integrity. The position interacts with a large group of varied stakeholders including internal Supply Chain colleagues, other Unity Health Toronto staff across departments, and external third-party vendors.The position plays a critical role in management of backordered and substitute items.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate and execute quality improvement projects
  • Make recommendations to develop tools or automate processes that optimize forecast and replenishment processes
  • Impart best practices and provide Supply Chain and clinical colleagues with required knowledge
  • Work with the Sourcing, Data Governance, Purchasing teams and Supply Chain managers
  • Liaise with GPO stakeholders and onsite third party logistics
  • Communication of item changes to Clinical management, Materials Coordinators and onsite third party logistics
  • Run various supply chain reports for optimal results
  • Management of backorders and substitute items
  • Management of product implementations and conversions
  • Support the maintenance of Supply Chain system data
  • Execute the proactive management of forecasts, replenishment and PAR levels
  • Recognize opportunities to standardize products
  • Analyze vendor order fill rates to identify potential issues and assess vendor performance against targets
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Undergraduate degree/community college preferred
  • Advanced experience working with supply chain systems, preferably Infor
  • Previous Healthcare Supply Chain experience
  • Excellent detailed work triage and work prioritization
  • Strong analytical skills for performing inventory analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability for intense studying and concentration for analysis purposes
  • Ability to handle stress and conflict management in a professional and effective manner
  • Excellent computer skills required - Microsoft Office & Excel, e-mail/Calendar, internet
