As an Investigations Officer, you will provide exceptional service to resolve breaks resulting from settlements ofWhat is the opportunityCapital Markets transactions, commercial and retail deals and settle compensation claims accordingly. You will maintain a good working relationship and professional approach with our Agent banks, internal and external clients.What will you do

  • Ensure that quality service is provided and that the Bank is represented in a professional manner at all times.
  • Demonstrate thoroughness and integrity in the investigation/compensation process ensuring strict adherence to Standing Orders and Terms and Conditions governing our accounts.
  • Ensure that investigation cases are updated according to established procedures and guidelines
  • All cases must be updated with latest emails, phone calls and SWIFT messages
  • Identify opportunities to further streamline tasks and create efficiencies
  • Develop good knowledge of products supported by Capital Markets Operations.
What do you need to succeedMust-have
  • Highly organized with a strong commitment to task and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and handle high volume.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at various levels both internally and externally and at various levels of technical/business knowledge.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure to multitask and reprioritize tasks as necessary and meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Flexible to work on occasional Statutory Holidays.
Nice-to-have
  • 1+ years of experience in investigations or in a banking operations/trading activity role.
  • University degree or College Diploma or any equivalent combination of qualifications and/or experience
  • Good understanding of Capital Markets and banking operations/trading activity
  • Solid understanding of settlements or cash flows
  • Ability to multitask in various systems environments and complete tasks independently.
