Job Description

IT Project Manager - Capital Markets On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for an IT Project Manager - Capital Markets. IT Project Manager - Capital Markets – Job Description

  • Hands-on management of meetings, status reports, reporting to steering committees and working groups
  • Leading an agile team and holding scrum meetings
  • Facilitating KPIs and measuring productivity within the team
  • Reporting project status, roadblocks and milestones to the project stakeholder and sponsors throughout the course of the project
  • Assist in some BA duties (creating flow-charts, diagrams, documentation, etc.)
  • Main scope would be to manage the following three projects: Reconciliation, TBricks, and Zeus
  • May also assist on other smaller projects
  • Involved in network planning, hardware planning and architecture
  • Communicating with vendors, main stakeholders on the trading desk, system architects, development staff, QAs, BAs, and other PMs
  • Providing guidance to the project team to ensure efforts are aligned to the project delivery goal
  • Define project control processes, stakeholder management processes, and project gating documents in adherence to bank EPMO standards
  • Focus on Governance processes, ensuring projects are moving through the appropriate channels and drive the initiatives
IT Project Manager - Capital Markets – Mandatory Skills
  • 7+ years #39; experience as a project manager in developing solutions within Capital Markets
  • Experience with a combination of both infrastructure and application development projects
  • Proven expertise delivering multiple small projects in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication is required
  • Proactive and self-driven
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment is required
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
IT Project Manager - Capital Markets - Nice to Have Skills
  • Exposure to projects related to Kafka/NiFi and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of mid-office and settlement processes
  • PMI/PMP designations are an asset
