Job Description

IT Support Analyst On behalf of our client in the Public Sector, PROCOM is looking for an IT Support Analyst. IT Support Analyst – Job Description

  • The IT Support Analyst is the face of IT and will act as a liaison between IT and the end user for IT-related needs
  • Manage technical support related issues via ticketing system
  • Ability to conduct research into application development issues and products
  • Work on assignments that are complex in nature and require judgment, initiative and specialized knowledge to identify, resolve and recommend solutions to problems
  • Technical Support of Hardware and Software
  • Provide telephone, email and in-person support to end users
  • Ensure that incidents are handled in a timely manner and appropriate escalation is followed
  • Document existing and new systems and procedures
  • Willing to work outside of normal operating hours when required
IT Support Analyst – Mandatory Skills
  • Bachelors or College Diploma in IT and related fields
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, good listening skills and the ability to gain customer confidence and trust
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Ability to handle multiple calls/tasks in fast paced environment
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of network printer installation, setup, and troubleshooting
  • Strong commitment to high quality service, professionalism, and teamwork
  • Practical experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, client/server, remote tools, Windows 10/11, Server 2019 and Oracle Databases
IT Support Analyst - Nice to Have Skills
  • Associate, Bachelors, or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline with an IT focus is preferred
IT Support Analyst - Assignment Start Date ASAP – 12 months to start IT Support Analyst - Assignment Location Toronto, ON - Work Hybrid
