The Jr technician role will provide first level support with end user both on site and remote. Maintain server, workstation, computer network hardware, software and performs upgrades. Assist users on computer/printer/network connectivity issuesResponsibilities; -- Install and configure domain controllers, security-related the software and hardware-- Manage network servers and technology tools and configuration of operating systems-- Setup account and work station-- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirement-- Ensure the security access controls and backups and fire walls-- Upgrade systems with a new release-- Documenting the network’s configuration, manuals and IT policies-- Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.-- Testing software and reviewing application logsRequirements--Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role--Knowledge of system security (e.g intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery--Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms--Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude--Excellent communication skills-- Completed computer-related course; professional certification (e.g Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator -MCSA, Cisco) is a plusReference ID: IT Support TechnicianJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
