Job Description

Position Description:Are you a soon-to-be graduate with a passion for tech As Canada’s largest IT consulting firm, CGI is looking for innovative and tech savvy individuals to join us in a Business System Analyst position.The position entitles someone who will be responsible for client-based projects mainly liaising with the delivery and operations teams. The member is expected to capture client’s needs on various wireless systems, analyze its business and technical applications/impacts and recommend approaches to address the project objectives.Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide support to cross-functional project teams in various functional domains (Operations, R&D, Customer Service, etc.), mainly Project Managers and Developers.
  • Manage client’s expectations regarding any changes and changing priorities throughout the project life cycle.
  • Analyze business requirements, impacts and risks of ongoing projects
  • Identify opportunities, drive process improvements and project efficiencies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
  • A post-secondary student who is graduating this year or a recent grad who has graduated within the past 12 months; eligible programs: Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Team player who adapts well to changing needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for innovation
  • Relevant work experience including co-ops and internships considered an asset
  • Less than 16 months of relevant work experience, excluding co-op and internships
  • Available for a January 2022 start date
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral & written
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp telecom operations and practices.
  • Creative mindset and solution driven.
  • Experience working in the telecom industry is considered an asset
