We are looking for a senior individual to join our Canadian Client Consulting team to provide merchant acquiring product and technical consulting support to our clients and internal teams.Job Description Summary:The Canadian Client Consultant team offers Product and Platform expertise to Chase Payments Clients and Prospects. The ideal candidate is comfortable engaging clients in complex consultative, solution-oriented conversations while providing value in the sales cycle.Though the scope of the role focuses on Merchant Services products and services, your industry knowledge allows you to speak to a wide range of topics including:Chase Merchant Services core acquiring products, services, platforms and architectureMethods of consumer payment options including both traditional and alternative formsPayment related technologies such as EMV, Encryption, Tokenization and Digital WalletsIndustry topics (e.g. Fraud, Security, Mobile)Retail, Card-not Present, Recurring, Mobile, and other emerging payment channelsArticulate complex Merchant Services platforms and architectureOur Client Consulting team advises merchants on critical facets of their processing environment, including point-of-sale systems, e-commerce systems, mobile solutions, integration methodologies, communication methods, value-added services, reporting (online, data files), third-party vendors, system architecture and other essential business functions. Client consultants help our merchants navigate complex products and processing requirements and map out solutions to meet their payment processing strategic needs.To be successful in this role, you will leverage your extensive payments knowledge to perform in depth analysis of our clients’ business goals and existing payments infrastructure; and recommend viable product solutions and tools, explain complex system configurations, and discuss system integrations. The VP, Client Consulting supports prospect and existing clients with varying degrees of knowledge across multiple market segments and verticals. In this role you will need to consider: key tactical needs, external market factors and the current and future positioning of our payment product suite.Job Requirements:Possess or quickly develop a high level of familiarity with Chase Merchant Services product lines and service offeringsProvide consultative technical sales support to our client-facing teams and lead technical discovery, discussions and presentations with our clients across multiple levels and disciplinesUse consultative methodologies and techniques to identify our clients’ business and technical needs, issues, and priorities, and architect the best payment solutions for our clientsSolve for integration roadblocks and pain pointsHighlight product gaps, enhancement opportunities and payment industry trends to help shape our product design, strategy, and roadmapPartner with internal product, project, marketing, operations, implementation, deployment, compliance and learning and development teams in your role as product subject matter expertAbility to travel to client engagements in Canada and the United States (future requirement up to 25% of time)Required ExperienceIn-depth knowledge of the Canadian payments industry and related technology; Merchant acquiring experience preferredPrior experience working as a senior Technical Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect or Client ConsultantPost-secondary education in a technical discipline preferredStrong sense of prioritization and execution against critical deliverablesExcellent communication skills - English (required), French (an asset)Experience across multiple market segments and verticalsAbility to proactively identify and syndicate potential solutions with limited guidanceAbility to travel to client engagements in Canada and the United States up to 25% of the timeAttributesCollaborativeResourcefulAccountableInnovativeClient-CentricAnalyticalQuick Apply
