Our team has grown over the past year as our plans to grow continue!Position overviewAs a member of Cloud Platform Operations team, you will be a key contributor to the operation of the Bitbuy web application and mobile application operations. You will be responsible for the hands-on operational tasks in the AWS environment such as applying patches, creating net new AWS accounts, managing/maintaining employee’s access to proper AWS environments, managing all SSO integration matters, administer EKS clusters and perform production deployments.Who you are- You are friendly and approachable- You are passionate about helping people accelerate- You are comfortable working in a team setting- You have the open book type working style where your tasks, progresses and the overall objectives are transparent and communicated on regular basis- You are comfortable navigating through the Amazon Web Service’s console- You are familiar with the AWS Platform- You have the zeal and personality to learn and to excelQualifications- Known to be a “people” person OR a great team “member”- Minimum 4 years of production support experience- Strong experience with AWS (AWS SysOps Administrator certification is preferred).- Knowledge of AWS networking such as Transit Gateway, AWS Firewall, AWS Client VPN- Knowledge of database management, basic SQL, indexing, optimization- Knowledge of IP routing, TCP optimization, common application protocols (DNS, HTTP, mTLS, etc)- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization.- Knowledge of git, git flow, or similar technologies- Experience with Hashicorp Terraform, AWS CloudFormation or similar technologies.- Experience with secret management, Harshicorp Vault, AWS KMS, etc- Hands-on experience in Jenkins, CodePipeline, or other build pipeline tools.- Hands-on experience in logging, monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatchWhy Join Bitbuy- Competitive pay- Amazing health benefits- Paid personal and sick days- Educational support program- The opportunity to work at a start-up that is on the cutting edge of a new and growing industry!Bitbuy is committed to providing accommodations at all stages of the recruitment process in accordance with applicable human rights and accommodation legislation.
