Job Description

L amp;D Designer/Developer On behalf of our client in the Telco Sector, PROCOM is looking for an L amp;D Designer/Developer. L amp;D Designer/Developer – Job Description

  • The main function of the L amp;D Instructional Designer is to consult, scope, recommend, design and develop high quality, fully accessible, multi-approach blended learning and performance solutions supporting a complex, agile, transformational learning project
  • Supports comprehensive learning needs analyses for complex, transformational projects to enable the most innovative design and delivery of detailed learning recommendations, ensuring learning and performance objectives are met
  • Leverages best in class common practices, processes and measures across the design/development function
  • Provides deep subject matter expertise in learning and performance consulting, including knowledge of external best practices and emerging trends; maintains best practices in instructional design; stays current in design, development, program evaluation and measurement
  • Supports a highly complex learning project to deliver timely, high quality, consistent, creative, leading edge learning solutions that positively impact business and metrics
  • Ensures learning solutions align to bank #39;s brand, learner accessibility and principles of diversity and inclusion, leveraging established standards and guidelines and achieve success criteria while managing scope, risks and stakeholder engagement, and problem resolution
  • Ability to synthesize, simplify and communicate complex information and theoretical concepts while applying clear language principles
  • Provides design thought leadership and/or industry knowledge and participates in knowledge transfer within the team
  • Adept at interacting with diverse groups of internal partners at all levels
L amp;D Designer/Developer – Mandatory Skills
  • 5+ years #39; experience as an Instructional Designer/Developer
  • Educational background in Instructional Design
  • Advanced design skills in creating high quality, fully accessible learning deliverables in all modalities (i.e., instructor led - classroomamp; virtual materials; eLearning storyboard; self-led learning)
  • Advanced MS Office (PowerPointamp; Word) and experience designing virtual materials for delivery in Adobe Connect
L amp;D Designer/Developer - Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Instructional Design experience supporting the financial industry on highly complex, transformational projects
  • Adult Learning Certificate
  • Product scrum owner
L amp;D Designer/Developer - Assignment Start Date ASAP – 6 months to start L amp;D Designer/Developer - Assignment Location Toronto, ON – Work Remotely
