We offer flexibility and a wide range of skills development in our tight-knit team.We are looking for part-time garden construction crew to work flexible hours from now through November, average of 3 days/week.We are looking for someone who might be considering horticulture/outdoor education/landscape design/environmental studies as a career and has experience working out of doors.We specialize in perennial gardens and some interest in/knowledge of plants and soil is essential.You would be joining a small team doing a wide variety of tasks in building and maintaining specialty gardens:planting/digging; stone installation; re-grading; drainage installation; shovelling and installing aggregates/soil/mulches; installing small paving areas (natural stone); also pruning, weeding, mowing (very seldom, we are not a lawn company), edging.We are NOT a lawn maintenance company. We offer maintenance for long-term clients with specialty gardens. We work primarily with hand tools in complex, plant-filled gardens.We work closely with clients and encourage client participation at any stage of the project.
