Job Description

Egg Bae is currently hiring for a Full-Time and Part-Time Line Cook/Prep Cook position at our location in Kensington Market - 189 Augusta Ave. We offer a small selection of breakfast sandwiches with quality ingredients in mind, all coupled with a fun and team-oriented working environment. Our hours of operations is from 7AM-3PM every day of the week. This Full-Time position is for weekdays and weekends shifts including both Saturday and Sunday availabilities. Previous kitchen experience is always appreciated but a positive and learning mindset is an asset. Compensation starts at $16/hour plus additional tips pooled with the team. Upon mastering the role, the Line Cook/Prep Cook will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients
  • Prepare food for service
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the staff
  • Assembling finished orders
  • Clean up stations and maintain a clean and sanitary restaurant area
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously and in high quality in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain standards for food quality and quantity to ensure customer satisfaction and minimal food waste
  • Assist manager with checking incoming produce and supply shipments
  • Delivering a friendly and welcoming customer experience
  • Monitor and smoothly execute orders received through take-out and delivery platforms
  • Stock inventory appropriately
