Job Description

Job Title: Loan or Credit Officer (Bilingual Englishamp; Mandarin)Location: First Commercial Bank, Toronto BranchDescription：This is a full-time position. Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM (one hour lunch break). We are seeking a positive, careful and self-motivated team player to join.Responsibilities：

  • Evaluates loan applications and documentation.
  • Informing applicants to provide additional information or documents to improve loan application by HO requirements.
  • Complete loan related documents or reports.
  • Perform financial analysis and risk assessment where applicable.
  • Submit application to HO for recommendation and approval which Mandarin written report will be necessary based on HO requirement.
  • Review and update loan credit reports or files regularly.
  • Review loan related agreements and ensure to comply with all approved terms and conditions by the Bank.
  • Maintain client relationship or monitor clients’ business performance and collateral status based on approved terms and conditions by the Bank.
  • Ensure KYC or AML requirement of loan clients in accordance with the Bank’s and government regulation.
  • Assist loan disbursement related operation or loan review matters from time to time.
  • Communicate effectively and works well with other departments within the Bank.
  • Complete other responsibilities, as assigned.
Qualifications：
  • BA degree or above with Business related major or courses.
  • Over 1 year banking experience preferred. Familiar with credit or loan underwriting an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word. Good sensitivity and analytical ability on business performance and have patience with multi-task.
  • Strong ability to perform detailed work independently under time constraints while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin both.
