What is the opportunityThe Senior Technical Systems Analyst is a key member of Bulk Payments team, within the Enterprise Payments and Trade Technology team. This position will be responsible for business, technical, operational support and maintenance of critical mainframe applications.What will you doAsses and analyze business and technical requirements in order to provide estimates on activities/tasks and establish detailed plans and timelinesIdentify risks, dependencies, assumptions and constraints that could impact any deliverables.Design, code, and test for functions of low to medium complexityCreate, update and contribute to critical documentation (SRS, TDD, Unit Test Plans, Implementation Plans, etc.) as well as security documentationsLead, coordinate and execute support, deployment and maintenance activitiesManage and prioritize support issues and production problems to efficiently respond to business and operational needs and performs system monitoring, trouble-shooting and status reportingProvide SME advice and development support to Delivery Team and other Enterprise Applications such as testing, walkthroughs, code promotion and problem resolution to assist with the overall success of project deliveryProvide 7/24 production support on a rotating basisWhat do you need to succeedMust-haveMinimum 5 years development and/or hands-on application maintenance experience on large complex Mainframe applicationsSolid understanding of software development best practices and design patternsExperience with mainframe language, tools, and utilities - COBOL, JCL, DB2, Endevor, ISPF, SQL, IMSExperience with Operation System/Platform - z/OSNice-to-haveExperience in Retail Banking applicationsExperience in SchedulingDevOps tools (Git/Jenkins/UCD, etc)IBM tools (File Manager, Fault Analyzer, Debugger, OnDemand, etc)What’s in it for youWe thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
