Learn more at www.westrock.comMaintenance ClerkScarborough Facility (Midland Avenue)Job SummaryAs a Maintenance Clerk, you will be responsible for providing superior maintenance, clerical and administrative planning services to internal and external customers, with a focus on maintenance technical personnel assigned to operational areas within the manufacturing facility. As a Maintenance Coordinator you will help to manage the monthly maintenance budget, plan work orders or facility repairs, and perform plant and/or maintenance department day-to-day reviews to ensure that the facility is operating reliably and safely.This is an onsite full-time position.Responsibilities & Requirements include:Provides administrative support to the Maintenance DepartmentScreen and approve work orders in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for asset area to ensure job priority and efficient utilization of maintenance resourcesManage and track maintenance budget, identify variances, and provide explanations to justify budget deviationsMonitor maintenance schedules to ensure there is no conflict with production schedulesPrioritize non-emergency and break-in work order requests to approve and reject, review complete work orders, and produce schedule for the next day/weekIdentify parts required for necessary maintenance efforts (preventative maintenance, machine repairs, etc.) and plan/budget for the acquisition of required partsScreen and approve all work orders for the operating department to ensure coding accuracy and symptoms are accurately describedExperience and ability for maintaining accurate electronic records and data for scheduled, planned, and completed maintenance work.Preferred Experience / EducationHigh School diploma or G.E.D.; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred .Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, processes, and language is preferredExperience and ability for maintaining accurate electronic records and data for scheduled, planned, and completed maintenance work.Clerical skills and computer skills requiredProven track record of analytical skills that drive decision-making.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to adapt and take action in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Good time management skills organized and work independently.Excellent communication skills (speak, read, write English).WestRock Company of Canada is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating and maintaining a diverse workforce: Minorities/Females/ Disabled/VeteransValuesWe will achieve our vision by creating and living a culture that embraces our core values: Quality, Safety, Customer Satisfaction, Value Creation, Ethical Behaviour, Productivity, and Environmental Responsibility.Equal Employment OpportunityIt is the policy of WestRock to give equal opportunity to all qualified persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, national origin, or age.Quick Apply
