Use of basichand and electrical tools.You must have basic construction skills, communicate effectively, be organized and havepositive attitude.Whats in it for youBenefits:

What you will do:
  • Building: includes wooden structures, flats, props, sets, furniture and scenic equipment, and displays used to build very short-term, fake constructions as cheaply, but as safely, as possible
  • Drywall repair: includes filling in small holes caused by nails and minor dings from normal wear and tear most commonly performed between the terms.
  • Painting: includes minor touch-ups following damage repair and new coats of paint performed between terms.
  • Cleaning/housekeeping: includes maintaining a tidy appearance in shared community locations, such as the studio, classrooms, front area and offices
  • Customer service: includes professional, prompt and courteous correspondence with students, staff, security and management.
  • Time management: includes maintaining an organized scheduling and tracking system, usually on a computer, to effectively complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner and in the order by which they were received or by level of urgency.
  • Plumbing: includes the repair, replacement or installation of faucets, pipes, toilets.
  • Classrooms/studios: includes the repair of tables, chairs, whiteboards overall maintenance
  • Display: includes hanging pictures, posters and acrylic displays.
  • Equipment room support: includes distribution of camera equipment and respond to emergency situations and necessary repairs
What you bring:A. Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Three years’ experience and proficiency in several areas of maintenance
B. Skills and Abilities
  • Understand complex drawings, specifications and technical literature
  • Have strong mathematical skills to calculate angle and dimensions
  • Have physical strength and stamina
  • Have a good sense of balance
  • Be comfortable working at heights
  • Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative.
  • Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration and the community.
  • Possesses an analytical approach to problem solving, and an ability to find solutions by leveraging and linking existing services.
  • Recognizes problems and devises and implements action plans.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous record-keeping and attention to detail.
  • High standards of ethics and integrity, with a commitment to changing lives.
  • An ability to understand and work with student information systems.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, reflecting a periodically heavy workload.
