Job Description

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager for our growing group of restaurants. Our restaurants are high end, welcoming and comfortable venues featuring our own interpretations of fine dining Italian food with a focus on fresh local ingredients. We have the largest wine list in Canada and one of the most comprehensive whisky collections in North America. All candidates should be hands on and hardworking, willing to be part of a strong cohesive team. The ideal candidate will have experience in group bookings, event hosting and working with Triple Seat software.Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Commitment to exceeding guest expectations
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to set priorities for self and others
  • Ability to develop and motivate staff to achieve challenging goals
  • Sommelier certification or an equivalent preferred, along with smart serve certification.
  • The candidate should be available for a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Good working knowledge of computers, including Triple Seat, Excel and Word and previous experience with Silverware is also required as well as related forms of electronic debit and credit terminals
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to set priorities for self and others
  • Ability to develop and motivate staff to achieve challenging goals
  • Control day-to-day operations by scheduling labor, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team.
  • Ensure Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies are met.
  • Follow cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire team members; conduct performance appraisals, take discipline action, motivate and train.
  • Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing programs.
  • Ensure a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work protocol for the team.
Qualifications:
  • College or university degree preferred.
  • 2 years supervisory experience in high-end fine dining
  • Basic business math and accounting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle conflict resolutions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are an asset.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
