Position OverviewThe Manager, Corporate Communications will help build and execute an effective communication strategy for Richardson Wealth through excellent writing and management skills.This role will collaborate closely with the VP, Strategic Communications and other internal stakeholders to maintain brand consistency both internally and externally.Duties & ResponsibilitiesHelp fully develop and manage the corporate communication strategy for process, consistency and to best reflect the firm’s brand and business goalsWrite/edit effective communications for both internal and external audiences including: announcements, press releases, intranet and website content as needed and in alignment with the communications strategyCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders for correct implementation and maintenance of communications across all lines of business utilizing the intranet and other touchpoints effectivelyMake recommendations on frequency and timing of communications to ensure high visibility and reduce message overlapProvide advice on messaging, tactics, and distribution vehiclesDevelop, maintain and manage relationships with business leaders, functional partners and external vendors (PR firm, translation services)Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in communications and digital media/social mediaOversee translation services and standards and adhere to Quebec Language lawsEnsure cost control of all plansSkills & QualificationsExceptional written and oral communications is a mustStrong attention to detail with excellent writing, editing and proofreading skillsMinimum 8 years of communications experience with focus on developing and writing, preferably in the finance or wealth management industryMust be energetic, self-motivated and self-managingAbility to meet consistently high standards of quality while handling a variety of projects and deadlines simultaneouslyDynamic team-player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levelsExperience in development and execution of effective change management communicationsKnowledge and experience with writing for websites and social mediaProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft SharePoint experience an assetFrench language proficiency is a plusEducationUniversity or college degree in communications, public relations, media and/or related fieldIndustry related courses and continuing education is an asset including the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) & Conduct & Practices Handbook Course (CPH)Job Type: Full-time
