If you are an experienced strategist with a hands-on approach and passion for driving Omni-Channel and E-Commerce site performance and sales, we want you to join our team. Driving profitable revenue growth to meet Harry Rosen objectives, you will serve as a subject matter expert and a key contributing and leading member of the E-Commerce team; working through your team providing actionable recommendations to help evolve and maintain the digital strategy.We have recently transitioned to a new state of the art platform, and we need you to help take us to the next level of Omni-Channel excellence. This is a very exciting time in the history of our Company and you can have a significant impact on how we elevate this channel to represent our brand, high standards and service levels that our clients deserve and expect.Responsibilities:Online Merchandising Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute site audit, including sale, seasonal content, promotions
  • Plan and execute merchandising strategies to support business objectives
  • Maximize sales and conversion through recommendations for campaigns, upsells/cross sell, search improvement, etc. and other initiatives that support department objective
  • Develop strategy to enhance on-page merchandising rules, iPDP development
  • Provide data-based recommendations for email URLs, attributes, filter buttons, and other key link placements
  • Ensure product/merchandising plans latter up to business and campaign objectives
  • Develop dropship product plan to align with category growth plans
  • Optimize merchandising guides based on customer feedback and returns analytics
  • Develop strategy for asset and content creation relating to key merchandise categories
Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop new reporting and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Present monthly business updates including online KPIs, action plans and initiatives to deliver to targets
  • Manage audit of product catalog content to ensure accuracy or pricing, photography, copy, attributes, etc.
  • Liaise with studio production team, buyers and vendor partners to ensure brands are accurately represented online
  • Utilize reporting and data to develop plan to improve sales for key categories and brands
  • Conduct returns analysis of key categories and report on regularly
  • Inform successful future buys
Relationship Management
  • Conduct regular meetings with buying partners to inform ecommerce plans and provide feedback loop for online performance
  • Communicate regularly with key vendor partners, identify any issues within each area, work closely with vendor on resolutions and recommendations, and find optimal ways to capitalize on vendor relationship
  • Develop strong relationships with dropship vendor partners to grow channel
HR and Leadership
  • Management oversight of online merchandisers, manage projects and develop best practices
  • Establish performance standards and provide ongoing feedback to team
  • Conduct recruitment and selection
  • Hold one-on-one meetings and assessments
Customer Service & Engagement
  • Provide back-up support with e-commerce customer service, orders and fraud (includes after-hours/weekend as needed)
  • Work with Ecommerce Analytics team to plan customer journeys that shorten path to purchase
  • Resolve escalated customer service issues of medium-high priority
  • Support customer service questions related to product
The successful candidate will have the following background/experience:
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or E-Commerce
  • 5 years of experience in E-Commerce merchandising, buying or other related field
  • Practical experience and strong interest in luxury fashion/retail industry
  • High detail orientation
  • Strong analytical background demonstrating an ability to collect data, analyze trends, draw conclusions, make actionable recommendations, and drive improved business results
  • Experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams with proven ability to provide leadership and influence others
  • Comprehensive knowledge and awareness of industry trends (online & other)
  • Ability to build relationships with senior executives and stakeholders across functions in a matrix organization
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities under tight time constraints
  • Very strong attention to detail & strong problem-solving skills
  • Retail business experience (In-store customer facing or Head Office)
  • Experience with Google analytics and other analytics tools
  • Strong ability to manage time & organize multiple priorities
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
