As part of the Financial Reporting Quality Assurance Organization (FRQA) within Corporate Controllership, the Service Management (SM) team is a techno-functional group responsible for supporting the system operations function for US Regulatory Reporting, Financial Instruments (CECL & IFRS), BASEL, Finance Data Management, and Reserve Bank of India Regulatory Reporting capabilities. This team has a holistic understanding of the data sources, processes, and outputs, and the ability to trouble-shoot and resolve problems related to the numerous data sources and processing involved on various Finance technology systems.Purpose of the RoleThe SM manager role is a collaborator, a well-organized, action-oriented individual with exceptional leadership and time management skills, confident in presenting, facilitating, and building a network of strong relationships across our organization. The manager will work closely with the Finance Business owners and Tech partners to support the Regulatory Reporting data analytics and governance processes. It will be a people leader role with one direct report.Responsibilities:This role is responsible for driving analytics for the Regulatory Reporting stakeholders and processes. More specifically:Analyze Finance Regulatory Reporting needs and translate them into specific requirements and tasks for technology partners.Retrieve and analyze the data from underlying analytical/operational databasesBuild data visualization dashboards and other analytical capabilities for the end users. This includes building scorecards, dashboards, analytical queries used for attestation, validation, and analysis of the base data as well as the regulatory reports, using the tools such as OBIEE & Tableau.Perform testing and validation of the technology builds to ensure seamless business process transition and create relevant documentation.Responsible for problem management including analyzing and troubleshooting the incidents impacting the accuracy or the ability to generate the regulatory reportsDevelop deeper functional & technical knowledge on Finance systems, including:Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) & TableauLombard Agile Risk Reporter PortalHyperion Financial Management (HFM)Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) and General Ledger (GL)Regulatory Reporting Delivery platform (RRD)This manager will provide the day to day leadership for one analystAdditional requirements:Experience with OFSAA, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), BI Publisher, Tableau or a similar analytical toolset is strongly recommended.Experience with analytical and programming toolsets (e.g. SQL, PLSQL, Java, HTML coding) desired.Experience with Oracle Financials eBusiness Suite, especially the GL, HFM, Financial Accounting Hub, Consolidations, and reporting suite of application, desired.Experience with American Express accounting and reporting processes, including financial and regulatory reporting, would be a plusTechnical Skills:Good Analytical and programming toolsets skills desired (e.g. SQL, PLSQL, Java, HTML coding)Knowledge of PlatformsOracle Business Intelligence (OBI) & TableauLombard Agile Risk Reporter PortalHyperion Financial Management (HFM)Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) and General Ledger (GL)Regulatory Reporting Delivery platform (RRD)Bachelor’s in information technology or Computer Science is desiredExperience with OFSAA, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), BI Publisher, Tableau or a similar analytical toolset is strongly recommended.Experience with analytical and programming toolsets (e.g. SQL, PLSQL, Java, HTML coding) desired.Experience with Oracle Financials eBusiness Suite, especially the GL, HFM, Financial Accounting Hub, Consolidations, and reporting suite of application, desired.Experience with American Express accounting and reporting processes, including financial and regulatory reporting, would be a plus.Strong team player who can not only facilitate collaboration but can also step up and lead.Excellent communication, both written and verbal, facilitation, and presentation writing skills.
