  • Manage end-to-end delivery of Infrastructure Technology Services (ITS) through the creation of solutions.
  • Manage the efficient and effective conceptualization, design, development and deployment of transformational, comprehensive and Integrated infrastructure.
  • Plan and manage research and analysis projects to provide recommendations on next generation or innovative infrastructure based on current state, emerging technology, business value, cost/benefit analysis and risk assessment.
  • Lead participate in or provide subject matter expertise in the development of requests for proposals (RFPs) or other formal vehicles to acquire new elements of infrastructure.
  • Provide input into branch and divisional strategic, business and operations plans by identifying and prioritizing Initiatives, projects and service delivery options.
  • Drive efficiencies in project deliveries by optimizing standards, patterns and automation of services.
How do I qualifyStrategic Leadership Skills:
  • You have demonstrated experience building, inspiring, and managing high-performing teams of business and IT professionals in a fast-paced business environment with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, policies and resource constraints, including conflict resolution and prioritization skills.
  • You have demonstrated skills in people management, managing financial budgets and human resources, including labour relations issues and performance management, for a team of direct reports.
  • You have management skills with the ability to build effective teams by inspiring and providing feedback to staff.
  • You have the ability to connect and foster partnerships with clients and other business partners
Technical Expertise:
  • You have demonstrated knowledge of information technology product and services, cloud hosting including IaaS, PaaS, DevOPS including Automation, network infrastructure, n-tier systems architecture, datacenter and wide-area networks, current physical and virtual server technologies, mainframe, UNIX, Windows, Open Source operating systems, security tools and methods, middleware and database technologies.
  • You have demonstrated expertise to develop new business and service initiatives that meet client needs while anticipating future technological developments.
  • You have demonstrated knowledge of I&IT infrastructure patterns including security, emerging technologies and infrastructures to manage the development and implementation of reference architectures.
Program Management Skills:
  • You have demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and apply knowledge of financial policies and controls.
  • You have knowledge of procurement, purchasing and payment processes and systems.
  • You have knowledge of project management methodologies to plan and manage research and analysis projects and deliver results.
  • You have demonstrated ability to work with vendors with knowledge of contracts negotiations and service level agreements.
Communication and Relationship Management Skills:
  • You have oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver presentations, reports, recommendations and assessments.
  • You have interactive skills, and ability to resolve issues with vendors and clients.
  • You have relationship-building skills to enable effective stakeholder relationships and improve customer service.
  • You have interpersonal skills to establish strong working relationships with peers, clients and other business partners.
  • You have the ability to negotiate the design and outcomes of projects with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You have political acuity and discretion when handling confidential and politically sensitive information.
