Find out about our purpose, values and principles here.The Manager, Perfusion and Exvivo Therapies, provides exemplary leadership in the clinical and financial management of all aspects surrounding the Perfusion Services at UHN. Working in collaboration with the interprofessional team across a variety of programs, the incumbent will be accountable for the strategic direction, development and overall supervision of the Perfusion staff, as well as financial accountability for the Perfusion, Left Ventricular Device and Exvivo Programs. Job responsibilities include development and implementation of departmental outcome measures, management of short term/long term plans ensuring quality professional clinical practice and managing the departments financial resources. The incumbent will also take a leadership role in the development of the profession by collaborating with affiliated Canadian academic institutions and North American Perfusion programs and academic professional societies; independent and interdisciplinary peer-reviewed and funded research projects will be pursued as well as the overall departmental research program developed.
