The successful candidate will be reporting to the General Manager, Hospitality Division and assist in the formulation of the strategies of the club membership and the respective sales plan. The candidate should be prepared to work in various sectors, such as marketing, business operations, and finance.What’s in it for you:

  • Research and analyzing the data from the government, business sectors in relations to the business potentials.
  • Gathering data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Research and analyzing consumer preferences to determine the potential sales of a product or service.
  • Conducting research on specific market conditions.
  • Analyzing prices, methods of marketing, and distribution.
  • Devising and evaluating methods for data collection.
  • Using statistical software to analyze and interpret data.
  • Simplifying complex data into a user-friendly format, such as graphs, charts, and other visual aids.
  • Preparing and presenting reports to clients and management.
  • Assisting in the development of sales and marketing plans.
  • Assisting and supporting the other administrative and operation issues.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
What you bring to the table:
  • Bachelors or associate degree in economics, finance, statistics, computer science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in market research analysis within the hospitality, travel and tourism, food and beverage, club membership, or events and meetings industry
  • Strong understanding of Canadian and Ontario culture, lifestyle, demographic, and consumer behaviors.
  • Experience in applied research or data management may be advantageous.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and data modeling skills.
  • Ability to manipulate large, complex data sets into manageable, understandable reports.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team-working skills.
  • Familiarity with data modeling software and Excel software.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
