To ensure all processes run efficiently and effectively to enable all brand lines to arrive on counter on time in full and provide support, input, and ideas to generate retail growth.General

  • Conduct analytical reports of both competitive and internal sales data for new launches, and ongoing business
  • Support the daily operations of the North America Makeup/Fragrance Marketing team
  • The position supports the execution of North America Marketing Plans in order to drive long-term profitable growth and build strong brand awareness
  • Position is responsible for managing and executing year round launches
Reporting
  • Assist team in pulling sales data for key (Internal Power Bi Sales Data & external NPD/Competitive Data)
  • Gather and analyze competitive data on new product launches, manage and update monthly report to be issued to Global Marketing Team (Monthly NPD, etc.)
  • Issue quarterly trend report including monthly NPD competitive information, new product launches, and social media trends
  • Track retail sales monthly and overall product performance to anticipate and react to changing environment
Marketing
  • Supports the development of key Marketing presentations for global marketing, retailer presentations, regional sales meetings
  • Understand the market from a social network point of view and be able to provide support and quick analysis and recommendations to support launches
  • Additionally, assist on 360-launch plans and ensuring key parties involved are aware of next steps and delivering what is needed on time
  • Partner with cross functional teams on execution of PR, education, events, media support, and co-op programming
  • Work with Marketing team to develop seasonal marketing calendar to maximize launches and strategic focus
  • Ensure ongoing update and communication of the calendar
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers to customize programming per retailers (Sephora, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Dillard’s, etc.) in order to maximize sales and visibility per account
  • Price increase process including updating retailer systems bi-annually, which includes assessing
  • Complete copy/origin/ingredients taken from HQ into retailer forms Eng/Fr (if possible) & send for approval to corresponding marketing managers.
  • Manage item set up on LVMH FB system (saleable & POSM for Canada specific SKUs), Initiate every semester, then maintain.
  • Code and create PO’s and process invoices of the workflow systems (AX, Medius, ePO..) and prepare them to be approved.
  • To respond to retailer’s enquiries as a top priority to ensure LVMH Fragrance Brands is considered a “top of class vendor” and communicate with all retail groups to provide, product, creative assets and manage ad hoc requests.
Regulatory & compliance
  • Skincare/Health Canada compliance
  • Request copy/packaging product information
  • Send to consulting companies to check compliance of Health Canada
  • Proceed to required steps to be able to launch (relabeling..)
  • To manage the company’s customer complaint process
Merch
  • Partner with Merchandising from project inception to completion to ensure all key due dates (provide product samples, copy, visuals, factices) are met by Marketing
  • Ordering POSM elements (grids & testers) from distribution center for store updates
Communication & feedback to HQ
  • Develop strong working relationship with the Central Marketing team
  • Communicate regularly to outline market specific needs, provide feedback on launches including category analysis with North America needs (e.g., claims, name, formula, competition, trends, and gaps/opportunities in product portfolio)
  • Share launch reporting to HQ in a timely manner (i.e. Hot news, Launch recap reports)
Qualifications
  • Analytical skills and knowledge/experience with NPD
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & PC programs – with a high focus on Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of the social/digital world
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
  • Bonus: able to communicate in French (Speak & write)
