Job Description

Position: Marketing & Events CoordinatorLocation: Toronto, OntarioReports to: Marketing Operations ManagerWe have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven full time Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our growing team! Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, the Marketing and Events Coordinator will be based in the Toronto office and will be responsible for supporting the Global Events & Marketing department in organizing and planning events of all sizes, building sales and customer support tools and overall events administration to drive brand recognition and sales.What you’ll do: · Manage all aspects of events planning for trade shows, prospect and customer events, as well as internal events as needed.· Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenditures are fiscally responsible and they maximize efficiency.· Collaborate cross functionally with internal teams as needed. For example, provide creative team with direction for: booth design, event invitations, digital event material and all other event related collateral.· Engage and work with external agency partners as needed.· Manage registration, booth build-up and trade show service for all events.· Coordinate logistics of devices and materials (shipping, tracking, etc).· Coordinate staff travel and accommodations.· Oversee and recommend the strategy for the deployment of e-Blasts, and associated landing pages for events.· Coordinate online & offline promotion for all events.· Coordinate featured guest speaker(s) where needed with the VP of Marketing.· Post event reporting including measures of success and ROI.· Ensure events and output aligns with the brand strategy and meets Venus Concept standards consistently.· Intake and manage requests from various departments/functions, while seeking new opportunities for the business related to events to build brand recognition and support sales.· Provide support to Marketing Operations Manager on the sales and customer tools as needed, for example Showpad, E-commerce portal, B2B and B2C assets.· Other related tasks as required.What you’ll need: Education and Experience Required:

  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing, or related/equivalent experience.
  • 2 years’ experience managing and coordinating large scale corporate events.
  • Familiarity with the medical aesthetics industry is considered an asset.
  • Experience with managing multiple events simultaneously.
Skill and Knowledge Requirements:
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and negotiation experience with suppliers, caterers, venues and partnership.
  • Experience in event budgeting and financials.
  • Ability to work in a high volume and high-pressure environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, Salesforce knowledge an asset.
