Job Description

A sports fan celebrate a special moment.Because we believe connections unite us, possibilities fuels us, and moments define us.This posting is for a Material Handler on an overnight shift (11PM-7AM)As a Material Handler, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Accurate picking, packing and consolidating of material before staging.
  • Perform daily shipping tasks invoicing and loading trailer.
  • Receives and verifies accuracy of incoming shipments using Oracle WMS.
  • Sort and places material on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, product types or by departments.
  • Communicate any order discrepancy to senior material handler or Manager.
  • Maintain customer service standards for both internal and external customer.
  • General warehouse maintenance.
  • Learn and adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations, both legislatively mandated and as outlined in company policy.
Qualifications:Core Competencies: Customer Focus; Teamwork; Communication; Accountability; Innovation
  • Minimum Grade 12 education.
  • Previous experience in warehousing or material control required.
  • Previous experience in a computerized parts inventory environment with Shipping/Receiving knowledge would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Licensed to operate counter balance or reach fork truck.
  • Must be willing to perform shift work, including night, weekends and statutory holidays, based on the needs of the business.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Pay, benefits, and work schedule as per the Metro Cable Association Salary Plan.
