Job Description

OFGO produces a comprehensive line of workplace solutions including office systems, casegoods, tables, desks, seating, filing and storage, and boardroom solutions.ABOUT THE POSITIONWe are looking to add a new Material Handler to our growing company.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Loads materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks and shelves, or vehicles, such as trucks.
  • Unload trucks, receive materials in to the ERP System and place in to the designated areas.
  • Monitor quality of incoming goods in accordance with quality requirements.
  • Replenish the assembly line and packaging sections when materials are running low.
  • Perform stock counts and work with purchasing to ensure the required materials are on hand and inventory levels are maintained.
  • Dump self dumping hoppers with the fork lift truck daily to maintain plant cleanliness.
  • Assist in the shipping section when additional help is required.
  • Stage, shrink wrap and ship customer orders when additional help is required.
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous. improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Other duties as assigned
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 3 years of experience with Counterbalance and Raymond Reach.
  • Must be hardworking and have a strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent time management skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently both within a team and independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to Speak, Read and Write English Fluently.
  • Must be able to read and understand drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must be comfortable working with computers.
  • On the job training will be provided.
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $20.00-$21.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
Experience:
  • Raymond Reach: 3 years (preferred)
  • Counterbalance: 3 years (preferred)
