Job Description

This is a frontline position and the successful applicant will be the primary contact for patients with our office. The successful applicant must possess excellent customer service skills and demonstrate the following abilities:

  • Excellent telephone communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Integrity and a focus on patient safety
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Answer the phone and schedule appointments
  • Triage referrals and book clinics appropriately
  • Book follow-up appointments with patients
  • Update, file and maintain patients medical records
  • Register new patients and update existing patient demographics
  • Facilitate patient flow by notifying staff of patients arrival or delay
  • Respond to patients, prospective patients, and visitor inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
  • Keep medical office supplies adequately stocked
  • Maintain cleanliness of reception area, waiting room and exam rooms
  • Answer Incoming calls with appropriate delegation and follow-up
Applicants MUST have experience with an EMR system. We use Telus PS Suites.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSalary: $22.00-$26.00 per hourAdditional pay:
  • Commission pay
