  • Facilitate studio bookings in the area of audio, ensure the safe and effective operation of Digital Media Lab studios
  • Set-up, maintain, operate and troubleshoot equipment, systems and facilities , support Digital Media Lab operations and administration
  • Employ industry best practices in all operational areas
Teamwork and Customer Service
  • Demonstrate professionalism and able to work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and stakeholders to provide excellent customer service for studio users
  • Support a wide range of clients, creative communities and industry partners
  • Create a safe, inclusive and respectful work environment, build community and support a wide range of creative projects
  • Prioritize creativity, integrity, community, collaboration and learning
Training and Development
  • Develop and deliver programming in the areas of audio production
  • Provide technical training, mentorship and advice to members and clients
  • Participate in relevant professional development and training to stay current with industry best practices and trends
Qualifications:
  • Minimum post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent knowledge, skills, competencies, and abilities gained through alternative education or experience
  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in video production and/or photography
  • Advanced level of technical knowledge in audio engineering and professional recording studio operation
  • In-depth knowledge of established and emerging practices in audio engineering
  • Proficient in the operation of relevant equipment and software
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced mentorship, facilitation, presentation and instruction skills, and administrative, organization and planning skills
  • Proven decision-making, problem-solving skills
  • Be able to work in a team and individually, excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, produce deliverables and meet deadlines
