Job Description

Title: Microsoft System AdministratorLocation: Toronto, Ontario, CanadaWe have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Microsoft System Administrator to join our growing team!Reporting to the Director of Information Technology. The Microsoft System Administrator will be based in Toronto, Ontario and will support strategies for global systems implementations and architect the infrastructure required to support those strategies. This includes ensuring the availability of systems and applications (focused on the Salesforce and Office 365 stack), configuring all implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of assigned servers or environments.What you will do:

  • Oversee administration of key systems including Salesforce CRM and Office 365
  • Provide system administrator support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems
  • Configure, troubleshoot and support of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, One Drive for Business, Cloud App Security, Intune, and Azure Active Directory
  • Manage procurement, deployment and support of end user hardware
  • Troubleshoot Office 365 issues including user connectivity and mobility
  • Manage users, groups and licenses
  • Provide mobile device management, including endpoint protection, Intune, ATP
  • Monitor operational, security and compliance, log analysis, utilization and security reports
  • Coordinate hardware ordering, shipping and set up
  • Provide general remote end-user support and training for hardware and software
  • Troubleshoot OS, network, user equipment, service related issues
  • Document processes, as well as backing up and archiving data
  • Develop data retrieval and recovery procedures
  • Maintain up to date with advancements and best practices in IS administration.
What you will need:
  • At least 3 years of experience in corporate on premise, Office365 and Azure Active Directory services administration
  • Post Secondary education in Computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related discipline.
  • Experience remotely supporting users on various workstations and mobile devices
  • Experience working in both PC and Mac environments
  • Help desk experience and ability to provide remote technical and end-user support
  • Experience troubleshooting networks and related technologies
  • Professional experience with administering O365, Exchange, Azure Active Directory and SharePoint Environments
  • Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality
  • Ability to organize and plan work independently
  • Ability to multitask and context-switch effectively between different activities
  • Experience administering Microsoft endpoint protection (asset)
  • PowerBI solution administration (asset)
  • Azure infrastructure resource support & administration (asset)
