Job Description

The Toronto Office of McCarthy Tétrault LLP seeks highly-motivated lawyers to join our Global Metals & Mining Group, a specialty practice within our national Business Law Group.The successful candidates will work closely with leading lawyers and be part of a top-tier team that provides sophisticated legal advice to a diverse Canadian and international client base on a broad spectrum of transactions and projects.The ideal candidates will have the following professional qualifications:

  • Between 2 and 4 years of post-call experience working with clients in the mining industry;
  • Significant M&A (public and private) and capital markets experience; Strong oral and written communication skills; and
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service excellence.
